Definitions

VISIT IZOLA ONLINE SHOP is available at https://shop.visitizola.com/ and is managed by the seller Tourist Board Izola, EIG

SELLER is Tourist Board Izola, EIG, Sončno nabrežje 4, 6310 Izola, registration number: 5909546000, VAT ID: SI62185535.

BUYER is any natural or legal person who makes a PURCHASE in the Visit Izola e-shop.

CONSUMER is any natural person who acquires goods, products or uses a service for purposes outside his or her professional or gainful activity.

 

Introductory provisions

These general terms and conditions define the conditions of visiting and shopping in the Visit Izola e-shop and define the seller’s and buyer’s rights and obligations.

These general terms and conditions may be amended or changed at any time, without special notice. Each version of the terms and conditions is dated.

The currently applicable version of the terms and conditions is always available at www.visitizola.com

 

Visiting the online shop

The Visit Izola Online shop can be visited by anyone.

Any copying or modification of the online shop, its parts, or content is prohibited.

Links to third-party websites may also be listed in the online shop. The seller does not assume any responsibility for the content and functionality of third-party websites.

 

Shopping in the online shop

The buyer may submit a product/service inquiry in the Visit Izola online shop.

The user can submit a purchase request 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

All products in the online shop are available until clearance of stock.

 

Product information

Due to the nature of the business, the product offer is updated frequently and rapidly. The seller strives to provide clear and complete product information. The seller recommends the buyer reads the declaration or product description before its use.

Product information is available for personal use only and may not be reproduced or used in any other way without the seller’s prior consent. The seller reserves the right to make substantive and other changes to product information in the online shop without prior notice.

All product photographs are symbolic and may not reflect the exact product properties. Color shades and the appearance of the photographed products may differ from their actual physical characteristics. However, this does not affect the products’ properties and standards. The seller does not assume any responsibility for minimal differences between the products and their display in the online shop. The seller does not assume any responsibility for textual errors in the product description. This does not affect the consumer’s legal rights.

 

Product prices

The price of each product is stated per unit or quantity. The regular price is specified next to the product or group of products.

All prices are in Euro and include VAT, as well as any other possible charges or costs concerning preparing and sending the order.

The prices do not include the cost of delivery.

The prices in the online shop may change. The prices that apply are the ones stated at the time of order confirmation.

 

Order

The order is placed as follows:

1. The buyer places a product, service, or experience in the basket on the online shop’s website.

2. The buyer completes the purchase by filling out the PAYER DATA form, where he or she enters personal data and information for delivery.

3. PAYMENT OPTIONS: the buyer selects among the following payment options:
– Payment in cash upon delivery (only in Slovenia)
– Paypal (only in Slovenia)
– Payment with credit or debit cards (only in Slovenia)

The buyer may also purchase the products, services, or experiences at the seller’s physical location: Tourist Information Center Izola, Sončno nabrežje 4. In this case, it is possible to pay in cash or with the following credit or debit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Karanta, and Diners

Orders in countries other than Slovenia are possible by pro forma invoice. The buyer can place an order via e-mail to e-shop@visitizola.com. The seller will then send the pro forma invoice and instructions for the payment.

4. COLLECTION OF GOODS: when completing a purchase in the online shop, the buyer can collect the ordered goods via home delivery (only in Slovenia). The buyer has to pay additional delivery charges, which are specified in the order. If the buyer orders a ticket for an event or an experience, a digital ticket with a unique QR code will be sent to the e-mail stated in the PAYER DATA form. If the buyer carries out a reservation of equipment (SUP, e-scooter) in the online shop, they may collect the reserved equipment in the Tourist Information Center Izola, Sončno nabrežje 4, where the buyer pays the safety deposit and rent.

 

Refusal of order/purchase

The seller may refuse the order or purchase of the products for justified reasons and in particular in the following cases:

– a substantial error is detected in product description or price;
– payment authorization by the bank is not carried out;
– the consumer abuses the right to return products under the consumer protection regulation;
– the seller receives a notice from the bank or a state institution about the misuse of the credit or payment card or the state institution orders cancellation or refusal of order for other reasons according to its authority.

The seller processes the received orders in order of purchase confirmations or according to the time of scheduled home deliveries. The seller processes the received orders in the shortest time possible, within a maximum of 3 (three) working days after the final purchase confirmation.

 

Payment method

The buyer may select one of the following payment methods:

1. Payment by pro forma invoice: based on the received request, the seller issues a pro forma invoice. The buyer pays the specified amount to the account stated in the pro forma invoice. The buyer receives an invoice upon delivery or receipt of goods.

2. Payment upon delivery (only in Slovenia): this type of payment is possible only in cash. The buyer receives an invoice upon the payment.

3. Payment with credit or debit cards in the online shop (only in Slovenia).

4. Payment via PayPal in the online shop (only in Slovenia).

5. Payment directly at the selling point upon the receipt of goods. It is possible to pay in cash or with the following credit or debit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Karanta, and Diners.

 

Received orders and unclaimed orders

The buyer can receive the ordered products only via home delivery

Home delivery

Home delivery service is provided in the Republic of Slovenia in collaboration with the contractual partner, Pošta Slovenije. The price of delivery depends on the weight of each product or the total weight of products added to the basket and is specified in the online shop.

In case the buyer does not claim the order within the time set for home delivery, the seller or the delivery service will leave a note stating the possibility of claiming the order at another time. If the buyer does not claim the order within the time-frame specified in the note, the delivery service will return the order to the seller. After that, it will no longer be possible to claim the order, the order will be canceled and marked as unclaimed. The amount of money already paid for the unclaimed products will be reduced by the cost of delivery and returned to the account from which the order was paid.

General information

These Terms and conditions apply to all events and experiences organized by Tourist Board Izola, EIG, unless otherwise stated in an individual offer by Tourist Board Izola or explicitly agreed upon in a written contract with Tourist Board Izola, EIG.

 

Ticket purchase

Tickets may be purchased at the selling point in Tourist Information Center or in Izolana – House of the Sea or in the online shop. The prices stated for each offer apply. All prices stated on the Visit Izola website (https://shop.visitizola.com/) include VAT.
Options for ticket payment:
1. bank transfer to the Tourist Board Izola bank account,
2. at the physical selling point with credit or debit cards, or in cash,
3. with credit or debit cards in the online shop,
4. via PayPal in the online shop.
Any possible discounts are calculated upon payment.

 

Equipment rental

Equipment such as SUP boards and electric scooters can be rented at the Tourist Information Center Izola. Reservations can be made in the online shop.

The prices stated for each offer apply.

All prices stated on the Visit Izola website (https://shop.visitizola.com/) include VAT.

Payment of the equipment rental is possible only at Tourist Information Center Izola, Sončno nabrežje 4. The payment can be made in cash or with the following credit or debit cards: Karanta, MasterCard, Visa, Maestro.

Any possible discounts are calculated upon payment.

 

Cancellation

In case of bad weather or exceptional events, the event or the experience is postponed or canceled altogether. In this case, your tickets will be refunded, or you will receive a gift certificate.

 

Validity and changed of the terms and conditions

These General Terms and Conditions apply to events, experiences, and equipment rental carried out or available at the time of their validity.
These General Terms and Conditions may change periodically. The changed Terms and Conditions apply to events, experiences, and equipment rental carried out or available after the change.

Complaints and disputes

Visitors and buyers in the online shop can send complaints, objections, reclamations, and other comments to the e-mail address tic.izola@izola.si or by regular mail to Tourist Board Izola, EIG, Sončno nabrežje 4, 6310 Izola.

The consideration process is confidential. The seller will make every effort to amicably resolve any disputes. If this is not possible, the court in Koper shall have jurisdictions to resolve disputes.

 

Personal data protection and privacy

The seller – Tourist Board Izola, EIG, Sončno nabrežje 4, 6310 Izola – acts as the manager of personal data.

Information about personal data processing is published and always available on the seller’s website https://www.visitizola.com/xx. The seller regularly updates the published information on personal data processing.

Rights of individuals: access to personal data, correction, transferability, erasure to a limited extent, restriction of processing, and objection. The rights can be exercised by a written application sent to the address of the manager or by e-mail to the address tic.izola@izola.si.

Complaints or reports against the manager’s conduct concerning the protection of personal data can be sent to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (more information here: https://www.ip-rs.si).

 

If you ordered delivery of products in the online shop:

When you submit an inquiry for the products in the online shop, please provide us with your name and last name, e-mail, and telephone number. These data are needed to process your inquiry and prepare an offer. If you order the products, you will also have to submit a delivery address. Information regarding the payment will also be processed. If you haven’t subscribed to the e-newsletter, your e-mail address will be used only for communication regarding your inquiry and order.

The information required for delivery (name, last name, address, telephone number) will be provided to the selected delivery service. The information about your order will be saved in an online archive for 5 (five) years after the completed order, and in the accounting company for 10 (ten) years after the issuance of the invoice for tax purposes.
